Its a mitzvah to imitate our creator. We also try to imitate a Rebbe, teacher or mentor. A chasid tries to acquire at least some measure of his Rebbe's personality and character. This class tries to give us an observation of one measure of the Rebbe's qualities which we may try to emulate.

Thank you for this insightful analysis into the understanding of human emotions and the means in which we can elevate them. The explanation of Gratitude in this detail was very interesting and very helpful, to understand just what do we mean when we say gratitude, that there are many facets to this human expression.
Your lectures are always deep, concise, and illuminate the far reaches of human emotional experience. One leaves your lecture renewed, more insightful and optimistic about the future and the tasks one faces.
