Sarah’s Story — And Why It Matters
Sarah (not her real name) grew up Jewish.
Her grandparents hosted long seders every year. The songs. The matzah. The stories that stretched late into the night.
Passover meant family.
But life has a way of changing things.
Sarah moved. Her parents moved. The years passed. Somewhere along the way she stopped having a place to go for the Seder.
She didn’t stop being Jewish.
She just didn’t know where she belonged anymore.
Last year, the night before Passover, Sarah sent a quiet email asking if there might still be room at the Seder.
Of course there was.
