Sarah (not her real name) grew up Jewish.
Her grandparents hosted long seders every year. The songs. The matzah. The stories that stretched late into the night.
Passover meant family.
But life has a way of changing things.
Sarah moved. Her parents moved. The years passed. Somewhere along the way she stopped having a place to go for the Seder.
She didn’t stop being Jewish.
She just didn’t know where she belonged anymore.
Last year, the night before Passover, Sarah sent a quiet email asking if there might still be room at the Seder.
Of course there was.
She came. Sat down at the table. Listened to the familiar melodies.
Later she told us something we’ll never forget:
“I didn’t realize how much I missed this until I was here again.”
That moment only happens when someone makes it possible.
People like you.
Passover belongs to every Jew — not only those who attend regularly.
For many people in our community, the Chabad seder is the only place they celebrate the holiday.
Sometimes someone arrives who hasn’t celebrated Passover in years.
Sometimes someone who recently lost a loved one.
Sometimes someone who simply needs to reconnect.
The seder table has room for all of them.
Because of you.
